The NERF Sentinel Project is going open-source, so you’ll be able to build your own system to automatically protect your domain. We’re cleaning up the code and preparing a series of technical tutorials on how to get your gun up and running. Look for more information in the coming weeks.
If you’re at AdobeMAX and want to see more of the Sentinel, message @thebiggerdesign and we can arrange a demo in the pavillion.
I’m definitely going to try this out and am interested in seeing if we can get this to be controlled remotely through a mobile device. I’m new to Arduino (just purchased the Uno last week), and think this will be an excellent project to learn and control servos.
Can’t wait to get my hands on this! Shoot me an email when you have everything packaged up! I haven’t been this excited about Flash + Peripherals since I saw the iPac USB board demo’d 4 years ago at MAX!
What Arduino board should I get to start playing with this stuff?
We’re using the Arduino Duemilanove, but it has been replaced by the Arduino Uno.
I’m excited to see the code release on this! Awesomeness.
Still checkin’! Looking forward to it.
Is there a link for the code yet? Will this be available on code.google.com or somewhere else?
The Sentinel project is now available on Google Code.
are there any updates of progress? i’m still interested in building one of these badboys.
